China’s Business Environment and Tax System

On October 12, 2017, the Central Florida trade community had the opportunity to learn from experts on China’s Business Environment and Tax System.

Attorney Robert Q. Lee with Rimon Law spoke on contract differences between China and the United States. He also spoke about Licensing and Intellectual Property Right and touched on some hot topics in the legal world in China.

Jean Paul Escobar presented on the basics of transporting goods between the two countries including Incoterms, transit times, and U.S. Customs requirements.

Kimberly Kirkendall discussed sales and market development and supply chain and manufacturing.

Over lunch, Gary Haberland, President and CEO of Genicon and a member of the Northern and Central-West Florida District Export Council, presented on his experiences both importing from and exporting to China.
