On November 3, 2017, the World Affairs Council of Central Florida and the International Visitor Leadership Program in partnership with the National Entrepreneur Center, the Central Florida International Trade Office, and Orange County Government.welcomed a delegation of 8 emerging leaders from 8 different countries interested in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development.
Jerry Ross, President of the National Entrepreneur Center (NEC), spoke about the NEC and its economic impact on the community and small business development. Carol Palacio with Orange County Government, Kim King of the City of Orlando, and Irma Stenman with the Orlando Economic Partnership spoke on business resources in the community.
The delegates had the opportunity to interact with 17 local small businesses in an interactive round table.
Later the delegates toured the National Entrepreneur Center and attended a welcome reception in their honor networking with the Central Florida community.
