I have been very impressed by the services offered through the Central Florida International Trade Office. I was contacted in late April by a consultant with the opportunity to host a delegation of Chinese food buyers on May 22 and 23. Being new to the area and anxious to help local food processors, I agreed on the spot. Realizing I needed help putting the visit together, I contacted Elizabeth Krekel of the Central Florida International Trade Office. She was a tremendous help. She put together tours of local food processors and arranged a “mini-trade show” of several other food processors. Her knowledge of the local food processing industry and the area in general (where to stay, where to eat, what to tour) made the event a complete success. None of this would have been possible without Elizabeth’s extremely knowledgeable and professional help!
By working together, we have helped propel economic opportunity for international entrepreneurs and companies who are looking to do business in Orange County.
We write on behalf of all members of Eko Club International to express our most profound gratitude for the exemplary reception we received during our visit to your center. The success of the visit, presentations, and potential international trade talks is owed extensively to dedication and passion that you exhibited at every step of our co-preparation. Your resourcefulness is quite a benchmark! Members of Eko Club International, and the score of royalties at the event express sincere appreciation for the warm welcome, and the extent of information provided by your speakers. We are quire astonished, and appreciative of the level of courtesy and professionalism displayed by all your staff. We hope for prospective transactions as a result of this experience.
I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the Central Florida International Trade Office. While preparing for our last Management Board meeting, I realized that there were seven requests for trade-related events to take place in Central Florida since December 2015 that the Orlando U.S. Export Assistance Center could not have accommodated without the assistance of the Central Florida International Trade Office. In some instances, the CFITO helped with specific activities, such as marketing; and in others, they took over administration of the entire event. In any case, these events were a benefit to the Central Florida business community that results as much from the efforts of the Central Florida International Trade Office as from the efforts of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
These [seminars] have assisted us so much here at Bell Performance, and certainly have saved us money and risk by using the proper terminology! Thanks for everything the CFITO does. We try to attend as much as possible as these seminars can be critical to success for exporters like Be.. [...] we greatly appreciate the funding supplied by the Orange County Government and J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. This type of trade office was desperately needed for companies in Central Florida to be able to compete internationally. Bell Performance applauds both entities for recognizing the need and filling the gap.
After one day of our program here in Orlando we saw the execution of a program that hit the mark 100% to which we were extremely grateful. Day two was equally impressive. The quality and quantity of the seminar participation from businesses recruited by the CFITO and partner organizations certainly demonstrated connectivity in what the office has been doing. On behalf of the entire Dubai Government Delegation, thank you so very much.
Central Florida is definitely on our list for future export development projects because of the outstanding work of the Central Florida International Trade Office.
